Jude returns to the Globe to star in an experimental production of The Taming of the Shrew.  The production opens tonight and plays until 18 April at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse.  Director Maria Gaitanidi has directed the production so that roles are played by different company members at different performances.

Jude's previous work for Shakespeare’s Globe includes Bartholomew Fair and The Merry Wives of Windsor.  He recently received huge acclaim for his portrayal of Tamburlaine in the RSC's Tamburlaine and also starred in The Cherry Orchard  at Bristol Old Vic and Manchester Royal Exchange.   Rehearsal photo of Jude by Johan Persson.
