Claire Foy (2007) appeared last week in Sky1's adaptation of Terry Pratchett's Going Postal. She played Adora Belle Dearheart alongside a cast which includes David Suchet, Charles Dance, Andrew Sachs and Tamsin Greig. "Claire Foy smouldered convincingly" Daily Mail. See Sky 1 website. Claire has recently finished filming the lead in Peter Kosminsky's latest project for Channel 4, Homeland. She plays Erin, an 18-year-old Londoner who, while spending a summer in Israel, finds herself face to face with the brutal realities of the conflict in the Middle East. Season of the Witch, directed by Dominic Sena, starring Nicolas Cage and Ron Perlman with Claire in the title role is scheduled for release later this year.

Claire received great reviews for her performance as Little Dorrit in BBC1’s adaptation of LITTLE DORRIT, written by Andrew Davies. "The newcomer Claire Foy was terrific, a combo of realism, anger and accidental charm." The Times. LITTLE DORRIT won the award for 'Best Serialisation' at the Emmy Awards in 2009. Claire was also nominated for a Royal Television Society award in the category of 'Best Actor (Female)' in 2009.
